How the language works
Aldymen, sodan keiın and aqyrynda help you put a story in order. The form -ğan/-gen/-qan/-ken + kezde means “when”: üige kelgen kezde — “when I came home”. In -yp/-ıp/-p ketu and -yp/-ıp/-p qalu, the auxiliary adds meaning to the action; its effect depends on context. In this lesson ūmytyp kettım means “I forgot” and kütıp qaldyq means “we were left waiting”. Learn these combinations as whole phrases.
